Yes possible give it more time. If vol corn is the target pest the corn will look green after a week but pull the whorl out and the lower tip will be brown. This is with a chemical like Select or Fucilade.
I would look closer at the grass if it was roundup herbicides not foxtail, pull it apart and see if the insides are browning up.
