Subject: RE: blazer rates

clayball farms - 7/7/2016 05:43 I might be spraying some Blazer in the next few days, the book sez 16 - 24 oz/a.. I am not familiar with Blazer, what rates do you guys use ? What size of pig weeds likely die with either of the two rates? Will the 24 oz rate ding the beans a lot more than the 16 oz rate? My supplier suggests running 8oz/a of bean oil with it. What about AMS ....do I need that too? Thanks in advance.

24 - 32 oz of Blazer.

You need 1 - 2% COC or MSO if you're serious about killing anything.  Also, 2# AMS.  And 20+ GPA carrier.

Despite all this, if Palmers are >2" they probably won't die.  You can bolster performance further by tankmixing another 'burner' with the Blazer.  E.g. spike in some Cadet, Resource, Cobra, or similar.  But still it won't take down Palmers consistently if they're big.  Better to get a rogueing crew lined up if you've got any over 4".

Good luck, Glen.
