Lefty, this was exactly what I was thinking. Just before dark tonight I was cleaning a plugged nozzle and noticed the corn at the stop point of the pivot was at least 8"-12" taller than the rest of the field(because it drains for quite a long time ie more water)! It was quite a revelation on how much I was shorting the water and the corn does not look drought is the least. Less water, more often is I think the better recipe.
