I like the AMS/Urea pre because of the reason you brought up. I'm already paying for an app fee to spread P/K/Micros, making my app for plane cost about $10 more then side dressing AA later on.
My program isn't for all, but not as expensive as what some criticize it to be.
How much N do you apply?
