| I"m about 5 miles east of Jewell and it is truly dry here, but I got 1.2" in the rain gauge this week that helps a lot. I mowed grass last weekend but only weeds going to seed, it was at least 3 weeks before that for the previous mowing. I drove to Jewell after supper and drove up to Kamrar and back home saw lots of almost dark green corn and a lot tasseled and a few patches between US69 and I35 of really dark green tall corn net yet tasseled. I checked the neighbors fields around the house and found both tassels and silks and some ears so this corn is off to the races.
I drove to Williams and west to Gowrie last Monday and saw a few fields already tassling, I think I'd see a lot more today on that route..
