It is mature when the heads bend over.

When they are still erect it is above 30% moisture.

Once they tip over it can dry 3% a day.

This depends on how dry the air is.

It could be ready to harvest 5 days after the heads bend over.



I've cut a lot of wheat with the head strait up that was 13%...



Didn't haul many trucks off though did you?
