We have been lucky, not great, but overall ok. Have had a bit more rain here at home than some of the ground 25 miles away. Corn in spots was rolling leaves last week. I would say that will be happening by Monday. I no-till everything here, trying to save as much water as possible. Planted 100ac of corn into cereal rye, some pretty thick. All rest corn planted into annual rye, crissum clover and rape that was killed early. Very nice mat on the ground. I'm going to keep very close eye on the cereal rye corn since it has the thickest mat. Today had a very heavy band of thunderstorms that just fell apart in a hurry. Thought for sure we were going to get it.
