The silver things are just springs. The boom was suppose to fold backwards as a break away. I turned it 90 degree and have it fold up like an old pull type does. If I hit something I'm gonna breaomsomething.
THe springs don't do much now.
I googled and found a new controller and that's a lot more then I have in the whole sprayer. Would be interested in a reasonable priced used one.
