Subject: How much N do you apply?

Sw. Ill
Average 170b farm. I put down 20# N as DAP. And 170# as urea .all preplant worked in. Most of the field looks ok but have a lot of pale corn by the highway border (of course). Overall the whole crop is a little lighter green than it should be. Wondering if I didnt apply enough? Or just a bad year for urea? Looked great through may into june then the rain stopped for a month. Now in july we have already had 6". Full tassel and the pale corn is already getting brown at the bottom.

this is following beans

Neighbors use anhydrous and corn is all taller and greener than mine planted on the same date.

I had the coop spread the urea and im a little worried they didnt get it right? They bought a rogator this year and just started offering the spread service. I let them do it out of pity really figured id give them a shot. If they did short me is there anyway to prove it?
