Subject: RE: Last minute new farm

Southern Illinois
I am going to disagree with a lot of other guys and I would farm it this year. I had the same thing happen 6 years ago and now I rent 130 acres between the same person and one other individual. 2 Pints of Generic gramaxone, 4 oz(by weight) of Metribuzin, a good dose of crop oil, 20 GPA and good pressure. (15 bucks/acre if you do it yourself) With the heat we have, come back in 24-48 hours and plant it. If you can get Liberty beans I would use them. I would think for less than $100 you could have them planted and harvested with a pass of Liberty and maybe get 30 BPA. We have planted DC's as late as July 15th that have done 40.
