Western Illinois | From my limited research on this the thought is that some stress is good on beans if the weather will cooperate a little. By stressing the beans it will make them a little shorter and bush out more. The last university study I read showed that 75% of their tests showed an increase of 2 bushels per acre. I would have a hard time doing it to clean beans but we had some waterhemp that wasn't controlled so that was our main reason of using an extremely high rate of cobra.
