East Central Iowa | I honestly think it has a lot more to do with timing on whether it is standing or not. That being said, there are a lot of signed 1197 fields that are less than erect, but A LOT of it got planted in this area to, so statistically there should be more of it blown down than other stuff. Some of our wyffels was the only thing to go down and our dekalb is acting like nothing happened, but dkc is 104 day and the wyffels is 108 day. I greensnap and late season standability I will attribute to genetics before I blame wind damage at this time on hybrid.jmo | |
