Probably 20 years ago, back when I still tilled everything, I fall plowed some terraces on a farm that heavy clay. Having some daylight left, I went ahead and plowed about 10 acres on one side of the waterway. The rest of the field I just disked. Then worked it all in the spring with the field cultivator and planted beans. The area I plowed were a little better than the rest. Coincidence or what? I can't say but always wondered.
