Central IA | So in your area I would get knocked out for not being ok with someone washing soil into my waterway in a drought? And I'M the one with an attitude? Like I said, I'm not just sitting on a lifetime notill pedastal and calling you out. Not 5 years ago I was the biggest tillage Nazi there was. But after seeing the horrible effects tillage was having on OUR farm EVERY year, I started to change my thinking. I'd say the close minded person with a chip on their shoulder that won't even consider another option is the one with the "attitude". Heck, for the millionth time I'm not even pushing 100% notill. Just that this kind of extreme tillage isn't necessary in MY area. With our conservation tillage we haven't noticed any yield drag. | |
