What soil type are you? There are few terraces here! I have helped build numerous waterways and other buffers and please don't take this the wrong way but these conservation BMPS are just band aides for another issue. When you need a terrace you don't have an erosion issue you have an infiltration issue plain and simple! That's why I plant into large covers!! Believe me I don't love to plant into the 6" rye but as some have stated on being CLOSED minded for just notill notill notill! I have watched and more open minded of how we need to adapt to the notill is just a tool not the solution to our erosion issues.
So let's keep stirring the gooo pot!!
