Subject: RE: corn on corn

NE, KS
I do a variety of things. In our bottom ground which is also our farthest north ground which means it tends to rain more, I am full tillage i.e. Disk ripper in the fall followed by the strptoll bar (all. Fert goes in the strip) 130 lbs if N and then finisher in the spring about 5 days ahead of the planter and then side dress 70 lbs if N (Nh3) That has been working well fur me.

In our irrigated hill ground I am running a landoll VT in the fall and then my strip till bar. This also seems to work as long as your on the strip

I have done just strip till into standing stalks but in out hills it can be difficult to keep evertbing where it needs to be
