South Eastern ,ILL | Today a storm came through the Pioneer White corn
didn't fair so well. We normally plant several acres to white, but we cut back this season to 300 acres due
to suspected yield loss & white corn being so unpredictable.
Today yellow fields along side white fields had very little wind damage while the white was blown over
& green snapped. This was on several locations & different operators. Getting very discouraged with white corn, seems it always something,
disease, to hot for it, won't stand, green snap, very fickle IMO.
