nebraska | I think your corn should store fine. I had some corn in 2 small bins for 15-16 months about 10 years ago when I just started farming. It was picked at 14-15% moisture, I cooled it down and left it cold throughout the summer. I ran the fan a few nights the next fall when it was cold. The corn came out in perfect condition, it also worked good because the price was about a dollar higher. Don't know if it'll work as good this time, but good luck. Usually I'm all out of corn by planting or shortly after but this year I have about 4,000 bu in the bottom of a bin I didn't get hauled yet so will probably wait it out too. | |
