Blackstock, Ont | Canuck here so do not know all of your rules. Is the p/u owned by someone over the age of 21? Whose cooler is it? I am reasonably sure that if my underage daughter were driving my vehicle (not truck) and there was unopened alcohol in the back seat or trunk there could be no charges. They had no knowledge of the cooler, beer not on ice supporting it. No empties in cab. If my daughter borrows my vehicle I do not empty it. Here we can meet prior to a court case and plead our case and it is almost always knocked down. I would go the court route if I was your son. Was it a hot day? Cop may have been thirsty??
