N.W. Illinois | In my county when I certify my crop acres the FSA has me write a request to mow our CRP acres. Our FSA director then rubber stamps this request. They want it mowed before the weeds such as wild parsnip,thistles, and etc. set seeds. With that in mind I have already mowed my acres in NW Illinois.
Edit to add the written request is to "spot mow the CRP acres as necessary".
