Tordon RTU comes in a 1 qt squeeze bottle. We just squeeze some out of the bottle onto the stump & use an old paint brush to paint the stump with it. Needs to be on a fresh cut to work best. We usually cut several trees then go back & apply the Tordon. I have seen it not work if the stump was left for a day or two before applying. If tree has been cut for awhile cut an 1" or so off the stump then use the Tordon. FWIW, we always use rubber gloves when working with Tordon.
