Brown spot is usually confined to the lower leaves and appear early in the season. They may appear on upper leaves as plants approach maturity.

They are favored by prolonged periods of leaf wettness and moderate temps ( 60 to 85).

Once you have it, there is no cure that I know of. We see it most years but doesn't seem to be a major yield robber.
