Central Ga | Been lots of talk on here lately about the weather conditions in the big corn and bean areas. Been hot and dry for most folks here for the last three weeks or so. The next seven days forecast is for highs 96 to 99 with 5-15 mph winds. We do have a small chance of rain each afternoon and evening, but any activity will likely be isolated. We grow almost no dryland corn in Georgia and weather like this is the reason. Most of the dryland crops still look decent, but with these forecast temps if we don't get a little rain it's going to get ugly real quick. | |
