Mid-Michigan | It really must be a location thing. A couple years ago I went through Iowa and I thought I was going to see a mid air accident. There was a plane or helicopter in every direction you looked. I'm sure those farmers aren't in business to just throw money away. I'm sure they are seeing economic return. I have tried it several times. I have flown it on. I have sprayed it myself and had it done later by hire with a rig that could get through higher corn. My check was unscientific but I checked every time. I have broke even but never made money. I think maybe its because we have a three crop rotation and conventional til (just a guess). | |
