Had 100 acres do that 2 years ago.  I could walk across the field in any direction very easily because it was so flat.  Never did stand up again.  Had to run the head right on the ground going 1 mph or so.  Still made my five year average yeild.  Neighbors that year had corn that did the five year average + 20-30 bu.  Crop scout said my corn yielded less because sun shine lose to plants being bent over, so corn could not make as much grain.  Makes sense. Did I say it was a pain to pick?  Life. Did not do any fung.
