I can't see a single weed in any of the pics!!

Honestly.... all soil contains weed seed.... so something will always be there.... your pics look like sterilised soil, with corn plants placed into it.  

I'd be interested in learning more.  I've seem some very good looking organic, and some very pathetic... and I honestly don't know what average is....
