We used to have fungicide applied to half of some of our fields in one block down in middle of the field against the rows. Never saw more than a 5 BU increase in that area, most of the time it was a wash. I cannot see spending the extra money on something that you may get your money back 2 out of 10 years. Some areas may have more disease pressure and it may pay, but it doesn't pay in a lot of places.
Why am I not seeing yield bump with fungicides on corn?
