Zillah WA | We are in between hay cuttings so I decided to come out and help a buddy of mine with mint harvest today. My question is for you guys that run pull type choppers. What pto Rpms do you run these choppers at? I hopped in it and took off and they had the tractor pegged all the way at 2200 engine rpm and the pto was spinning at 1150. Is it hard on them to run that fast? I always shoot to run our stuff at 1020-1030 rpm at the pto. Tractor is a 7230r if that matters.
