Even though you skip a row the population stays the same doesn't it?
Yes. I set the planter for about 14,500 population, so taking out 1/3 would make it 9,600 per acre.
Just about everybody I talked to suggested planting solid, and planting the same population. Leaving the skip to me it is the equivalent of trying to hit a double and getting an RBI instead of swinging for the fences every at bat.
We'll see. Like I said it is new to me. Skip row milo and cotton is very common down on the rolling plains of Texas.
