North Central Illinois | We have done side by sides and under the right conditions it does help a lot. Some hybrids respond better than others. What it will do for you is buy you some late season plant health that can really benefit under certain conditions. It seems like we have had more falls than not lately where the fields without fungicide were very easy to identify. That doesn't mean the yield isn't there but your odds of harvest losses are much higher. Fungicide on every acre regardless of hybrid and other factors is probably foolish but not harmful. I'm not sure why some guys let it bother them so much. It isn't coming out of their checkbook if their neighbor is slathering it on every acre. | |
