After putting a rock through the combine, every acre gets rolled from now on.

Yeah I get it that's why I roll. It's more about when. Just wanted to know if anyone had seen damage at the first tri. Instead I to have opened an old festering pimple on some people's arse.

Was that tire track from planting or tractor pulling the roller?
I haven't seen anyone in this area or actually ever seen someone roll (first hand) after the beans were up.


In all fairness, your initial post was kind of confusing. I thought that single row hadn't been rolled at all. Now that we know it was protected in a wheel track it sheds some more light on the subject.

Don't worry about the beans......unless you are missing all the rain like us! Have seen experiments where they actually cut the plant on purpose! Think it was a professor from UofG that used a lawnmower to stress the plants.

Give it a week and take another picture.....I'm curious how this will turn out
