I have an 04 and can disable it through the menu screens.
Please don't take this in the wrong way, but why in the world would you spend 20-30 hours trying to get the dealer to disable the locks? If you kept the truck until you were 110, the time you spent hitting the unlock button every time still wouldn't add up to 20-30 hours.
