Subject: RE: Spray Company applied the wrong chemical

Ok, found out today my spray company applied Liberty to my beans.
They were roundup ready, so who's at fault here me or them.
Early in the year, in January I was discussing applying Liberty on my corn
that was plant on bean ground. After talking to my seed rep he said I would kill
the refuge corn. So I told my chemical rep to change to roundup leaving the Liberty
on the contact, he only ask me to apply volunteer corn chemical not if the beans were
Liberty beans. Might need a good lawyer. In northern Illinois!

So do your seed and chem reps work for the same company?

What contract are you talking about? Crop sale, input purchase or field scouting contract of some kind? Do you have this field 100% custom farmed?

Like others have said I don't see how any farmer or custom applicator uses information from 6 months ago plans change all the time. Who ordered the field to be sprayed?
