Did you ever try broadcasting the beans in with nitrogen in early May? No added damage to wheat but no covering seed...
100# of conventionals untreated would cost just a little more the 1 unit of fully treated rr2's.....
Maybe a small seeded gly tolerant bean would having more seeds per lb would be a Better bet for weed cause control post....
