King City, Mo | All was planted at 30K, just real dry after planting the shorter corn.
Interesting how the same bags of seed can vary on germ when planting conditions change, One would think early, cold, wet would be worse then the later planted hot and dry but it's not.
Also noticing how the weed control is poorer on the late planted vrs the early planted and the difference in the weed control on the field corn vrs the sweet corn as all was sprayed with the same fill on the sprayer. Makes me think how it's more then just applying the chemical out there but the time and crop canopy that effects weed control too. | |
