Subject: Re: The word on bigger combine from deere nxt year

It'll probably be introduced in either 2008 or 09, consistent with Deere's typical 10 year run on its previous combine generations, just in time for EPA Tier IV engines. If a large frame class 8 (likely to be based on the frame size of a 9600 type combine), I wouldn't expect a 16-row, 30-inch corn head option unless the frame size, axle & final drive arrangement, threshing, separating and cleaning systems are all substantially increased over current, as well as a new feederhouse drive system with positive drive.
