![](/profile/get-photo.asp?memberid=15200&type=profile&rnd=113) Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS | While I was in Fiji recently I ran across some information about a Korean church/company that is trying to help the Fijians become for self-sufficient in feeding themselves. The church/company is called Grace Road Group. I haven't been able to find out much about this group but is seems they are headed by this lady "prophet" who is trying to prepare for the apocalyptic famine she believes is coming. They believe that Fiji is the ideal place to raise food, particularly rice, in spite of the fact that Fiji's arable land is in very short supply (75,000 sq. mi. of which only 10% is actually land and only a small percentage of that is tillable). There were several newspaper articles about their efforts and they have built some showplace restaurants to try to gin up interest. The picture below is one I took off a newspaper website due to the fact that I never got to see any of the actual rice fields.
