I would doubt that more is harmful and you likely will not complain if the yield is higher than normal will you ? You did get the product and will not be going out to try and suck up enough to get to the actual rate you wanted I would think . Might not be what you want to hear but it is the way I see it .
I understand where you are coming from as just the other day I was side dressing corn . Thought I was covering too many acres with the first tank . Yes the head guy set the rate before they delivered the unit . Well turns out that the pump backed off from what it was set for . The bolt was stripped ( john blue pump ) so the nut did not hold . I had to decide where to start over once I replaced said bolt . Ended up using more product than I wanted or should have but was not about to see my corn run short on N .
