Subject: Drying seed wheat on Gravity Wagons

South Central Illinois

What works to dry seed wheat?

Easy to put the grain on wagons at harvest time.

It is always too wet to keep at that time.

Need to keep the identity preserved at that time.

The screw in aeration tubes work after a fashion.

Usually need to move it out of one wagon onto another one at some point to finish the drying.

What should I do to set up a gravity wagon to allow the best aeration and drying?

I am thinking some permanently installed tubes or panels.

Adding some electric heat would help also.
