Subject: Spraying green beans (string beans) with Treflan

Monroe City, MO

Green beans are up. Wondering about walking down each row and spraying the centers with some herbicide. I've used Treflan around tomatoes before without damage.

I have some Treflan, Treflan/Broadstrike and Squadron available. Treflan/Broadstike contains metolachlor and python. I'm leaning toward that one and keeping it off the beans.

It may be safer to just spray the Treflan and if some gets on the beans I think they will survive.

Anyone used any of these chemicals in their garden?

Edit to add Green to beans. In case you didn't read the subject line.
