| I am having a tough time deciding when to spray over the top of my beans. Some guys have a magic number of 21 days after emergence, other wait until they see weed pressure get to a certain level then go in and spray.
I tend to lean more to the aggressive side on spraying because we have round up resistant water hemp. Once it gets any size to it nothing will stop it. Most of my fields were sprayed with a residual of authority xl 6 oz acre or 3.5 oz of valor xlt. The early sprayed fields the pre's have broken down due to excessive moisture and lack of canopy due to late planting from rain, later sprayed and planted fields seem to be doing good and are relatively clean. We are on 15 inch rows, 148k pop.
