Central In | I've noticed that my first planting of sweet corn tends to have very heavy tillering. Subsquesent plantings tend to have a little less size on the tillers.
Last summer my last planting [7th]...planted in early July, it tillered heavily, and most stalks had a second GOOD ear. Usually the late planting is less vigorous, but not last year...large tillers with the late planting. | |
