A common Dual application in peanut country 30+ years ago was Dyanap + Dual as a cracking spray. Nowdays, I've seen some Aim [ or Blazer] & Dual applied during emergence timing up the rain. Still going after pigweed. Rainfall makes all the difference. Soybeans in silt loam soils w/ a CEC above 5 will tolerate 3 lbs ai per acre.
