Your insurance should provide you with a lawyer and they usually use pretty good ones. It wouldn't hurt to have your own personal attorney as well. Most likely the other guys insurance will deny the claim at first. Most likely this will be settled between the insurance companies within the next year. Be prepared if the other guy sues it will get messy. Get your phone records from that day, write down what you did that day in detail right up to the time of the accident, where you came from, where you were going, any witnesses, anything you can think of.
