NC Indiana | Thank you very much for the helpful responses and the pictures were excellent. My idea was to plant soybeans into the green cover and then spray afterwards.
The result I was hoping for was that the cover crop would wick some moisture early in the spring, possibly allowing me to plant some soybeans while my ground going to corn would have more time to warm and dry. Also, I've read that others planting 30" row soybeans into green cover benefit from weed suppression created by the cereal rye matted between the rows. | |
