...you can get by with less Chlopyralid (Stinger) if you add it to something else. That will limit the carryover. To just kill thistle alone..it takes around 4 oz. of Stinger. If you add it to something like Status, an ounce will go a long way. I love spraying some oversize weeds with an ounce of Stinger and some Buctril/Atrazine. It smokes Giant Ragweed about 3' tall.
