Macon, IL | Have a decent crop going-probably not as good as last years-but still good at this time. Was planning to hit higher productivity soils with another 30lb-as it will be needed for yield goals.
No rain of any significance in the last 10 days. Not much chance in next 10 days.
Corn isn't starting to tassle yet-but likely later this week for early hybrids.
Couple things I am thinking:
1) If we stay dry-N may not be my limiting factor
2) If I drop it out now-seems risky of losing it
Thoughts?
