Last decent rain we had here was June 4, with .5". Its been vey hot and windy for June. Around here when the wind blows hot out of the southwest, you literally have to be right under the cloud to get any rain and it usually fizzes out quick. There's just not much surface moisture to feed the clouds. This weather pattern is very similar to '12 but, in then it started much earlier in the spring. The dry land soybeans are starting to stress and the corn will be toast in another week.
