Subject: Corn Fungicide Timing

Western Kentucky
Have sprayed fungicide on corn in past under heavy disease pressure after tasseling and have had good results in terms of both yield and plant health. This year corn is pollinated and has just an average disease rating on gray leaf spot and northern. Scouted Saturday afternoon and disease wasn't that bad and started 3-4 leaves below ear leaf and down.
Had humid weather last two weeks but humidity supposed to ease with temp this week and a dry week coming. Would it be best to wait to see if things progress before spraying? Is the greatest response on timing right after tasseling or could you wait ? I know infection could of occurred last week and might not show up till later and that's what bugs me about a decision. Any thoughts?
