Chaffee, Western New York | After the hole is empty, great stuff foam on a long hose to fill as much of the void. I've had luck by adding quick lime to the dirt at the entrance. Hydrated lime less so. They can smell a hole somehow and even years later a young one will show up and try to reopen it.
